first my Fiance called the USCIS Millitary Hotline to request an expedite.. then after 3 days he received an email that he needs to fax some documents to support the expedite request.. that was sent July 3.. and we just received the email July 27.. so were just waiting for the notification now.. 😊

Oh okay, thank you for the information!! We are in the same situation except that they never received our letter, ahah. You have to be so released!! I'm happy for you guys!

Hello everyone,

My fiancé and I asked for an expedited K1 visa and have no idea what's going on.

Long story short, we sent the expedited request with our package (Dallas) in May. We received our NOA1 on the 11th of May but didn't know if our request was accepted or not and our case was sent in California. Few weeks later we called an agent who told us to sent directly an e-mail to the Californian Center. Ten days later, they answered us saying that it was the wrong e-mail because it was the first time we contacted them and it was only to " follow up ". In that case the agent we spoke to on the phone gave us wrong information so it delayed our request but... whatever.

We called again to finally be told that we could do it over the phone, which we did, and that we would have an aswer within 5 days. It's been now 12 days and we still haven't heard anything and when I check the status of my case nothing changed. I don't know what else to do at this point except calling them again but I feel like we should have had at least a notification on our status like most of people seem to have when they request an expedited process? At this point I just want to know if it had been denied or not. How did you find out if it was accepted or not? How long did it take for you?

Thank you!

Alexia

Please let me know how can we expedite the case?

You need to call the 800 USCIS number and speak to a representative, they will give you the requirements and ask you to select which one you fall in, if any. If you qualify they will make a ticket for you, which will be assigned to an officer, that officer will send you an email within 5 days to tell you if you are approved, denied or need to send supporting documents. Usually, supporting documents is required and they will provide a unique fax number to send them to (you must include the email as the coversheet). Then you wait.....

My fiancé tried to fax the documents twice tonight and USCIS seems to have something wrong in their ene, with the phone or fax. I'm seriously fed up and just want to give up with that "expedite request"

Well guess what. I just got an email saying they couldnt approve my expedite because they have not received supporting documents/evidence. I faxed it and emailed it.

omg no way!! that's so disappointing :( I'm worried now I'm in the same boat, sent an expedite request at about your time and haven't heard back yet. are you gonna try again since they didn't receive your documents?

Well I'm over it. We have our NOA1 May 17, so in just over 2 weeks that will be 3 months, hopefully we will get trhe NOA2 soon anyway. Good luck to all of you !!!

That's what I'm thinking too, it only expedites the NAO2 and then it takes the normal time to process, right? At this point even if it get accepted, it might not change a lot

It doesn't make sense that we both were told we didn't send anything in, and then both got immediately denied, as well as you were 7/5 and I was 7/6...

I talked to a Tier 2 officer today, and he gave a lot of good info, then a lot of info that really contradicted what he said. For instance, he was like "you should've mentioned X, Y, Z," which I did, to which he said "yeah but if we get a letter that is too close to USCIS language or too exact for what we are looking for we get suspicious about who wrote it and thus deny it. Lol?

Yes they do make a lot of contradictory statements. So at this point, we will just wait it out and hope they start moving a bit faster.
