Hello all.

me and my SO have been together for 3 years. after talking about it for months, we decided it was time to file for the K-1 Visa . we were gathering up everything we needed, until we got some bad news. a year into our relationship, she was diagnosed with pulmonary embolism and just last month, she received a called from her doctor saying her PE is only getting worse and she only has 4 months left. when she was first diagnosed, she was told she would be lucky to see 30, she's only 26. I'm sorry to get real personal, but I need some advice.

we put the K-1 visa on hold and we're hoping and praying a miracle happens. I'm going to visit her next month, for 5 weeks. I've made several trips and this will be the longest I've ever stayed. on my last trip, I was taken into the interview room where the officer questioned me for a good 30 minutes. I'm wondering since this will be the longest I've stayed, will I have any problems entering the US? will my ESTA be enough? even though we put the K-1 visa on hold, could we get married while I'm there? I do plan on coming back home, just wondering if that would cause any issues?

any advice would be greatly appreciated. thank you.
