Hey guys..

I'm currently preparing my documents for my embassy interview at the end of this month.

My husband is the US Citizen and I am the UK Citizen.

The company I work for will be transferring me over to the american office upon my greencard being approved so I am able to use my salary for the I-864.

My company have provided me with a letter stating my job title, when I started working for the company and that once relocated I will be employed full time at the new york office. We are currently negotiating my pay package as it is significantly higher in the US however because I do not plan to leave the UK until October the directors haven't been in a particular rush.

If I provide the above letter with my payslips and my current employment contract will it be okay? I currently earn £55k so around $70,000.

I do have a joint sponsor just in case however I would prefer for us to do it by ourselves if we can.

London is relaxed about the K1 I-134 financials because those are not defined in law. They are rather subjective. The I-864 is specific and has pages and pages of instructions.  Specifically your USC husband's US tax return is required and that he is domiciled (or will restablish domicile in the US). So cover those foremost.

As far as  proof of income of the Intending Immigrant, I would follow the suggested optional proofs for the sponsor as stated in the instructions:

For example, you may include a recent letter from your employer, showing your employer’s address and telephone number, and indicating your annual salary. You may also provide pay stubs showing your income for the previous six months. (Page 6 of 16).

Yes that's fine my husband has three tax years to submit - he is unemployed at the moment as he's a stay at home dad whilst I work full time. In regards to him intending to domicile can I use our airbnb booking in Brooklyn (we will use this as our base whilst looking for our new apartment - we've booked it for a month) alongside our email ending our tenancy agreement here in the UK and our one way ticket booked to New York?

I can provide 6 months pay stubs thats no issue however my annual salary will not be on it as its in negotiation due to the vast increase of US wage in comparison the UK wage. The letter states my job position, when I started working there, the confirmation that I will be working in the NYC office once I have moved. Surely thats enough? The HR director's contact number and address is on this letter.
