Hi everyone My wife and I had our interview yesterday and the consular gave us a white paper stating to return one document of which the document was already with him so We prompted one of the workers and he consulted the consular and we were told to wait. We waited for an hour and they later gave us a blue paper stating that they will call us. We are a bit perplexed cos we don't actually know what's going to happen and wondering if they will call us before the 30th September.  Please any help? Or has anyone experienced this before? Thanks.

Dv visa. It has been stated on the blue paper that they lack certain information to make a final decision. But all the documents were submitted, they gave us a white paper to return one document but that document was part of the documents we submitted that's why they took the white paper and gave us the blue paper stating they will call us. So the case is awaiting results of administrative processing. Very perplexed for that.

Yes the blue paper is the approval form. But this one wasn't approved. "It's an awaiting results of administrative processing" this was marked at the bottom of the sheet.

So there is something they want to check. No one unfortunately can tell you how long it may take.

Ohok thanks! Would there be a situation whereby they won't even call at all?

If it is not resolved by Sept 30, yes.

Ok! But they said most administrative processing is resolved within 60days of the interview and the time will also depends on the circumstances of each case. Ours was a spelling mistake on our senior high certificate. Instead of "Jessica" they wrote "jesica" they omitted one "s" and because of this it's passing through administrative processing. We have 3years working experience. Can't this also be a qualification requirement? Are they only basing on the senior high cert for qualification? Because we submitted all the senior high school cert and the cert for working for 3years.

It is much harder to qualify on work experience- it's not just the number of years but the type of job and level, and it all has to be proven. In any case if you submit any document to them that they think they need to check, they will - it's all part of the vetting process for immigrants.

Got it. Just praying it will be resolved in time. Thanks for your detailed clarifications. Let's see what the LORD will do.
