Hello 

what you have received is your noa1. This shows they have received it and it is the que. your noa1 extends your green card for a year. Do not lose it if you travel out side the US you will need it. Next will come your notice for biometrics. ROC is taking around a year or so now.

My wife and daughter received their I-797C biometrics appointment notices after filing I-751.  The code shown on the notices is 5.  Does anyone know what is a code 5?  Did anyone else received biometrics appointment notice with a code 5 would like to share your experience at the ASC?  The USCIS Web site and many postings explained what codes 1, 2, and 3 mean only.
