Hello.  I need help.  Hubby is British. I am trying to find all his immunizations records(mum isn't much help). They moved around a lot due to his father being in the RAF.  What can we do here?  How do I even begin to find this out since his mum can't help?  I am desperate and don't want to pay for all the immunizations at the medical exam when we go.  Any advice would be appreciated.

His GP should have a full list, he needs to go to his doctors and ask for a printout - in the U.K. Your medical records are transferred when you register with a new doctor so his current doctors should have them :)

the problem is no one can remember any of this information and I am pulling my hair out.  I found out the GP he has probably seen once, so praying when I call them tomorrow they can help me.  UGGGGGGGHHHHHH

Your husband must know what doctors he's registered at now? When you move and register at a new doctors office they contact the previous office and all the files are transferred to the new office - that happens every time you register at a new doctors so all he has to do is phone or go into his CURRENT doctors office and they will have his full medical history including vaccinations.

It'll be at his doctors office. I went to see a random doctor just in the office where my doctors is and they gave me my records. They even said that I could've just asked at the front desk.

There's only two shots to get so just find the cheapest place. Call around...Walmart, your family doctor, health department, a drug store.

MMR--get it right before the medical exam and the second one will be waived for insufficient time interval.

Tdap--

The varicella will be waived if he tells them at the exam that he had chickenpox.

Flu shot will be waived because it's not flu season.

That is all an adult needs for immigration.

According to the website it says he needs. Tdap, MMR, Varicella and Flu.  Where do you only see two? He has had the chicken pox I do know that.  Are you telling me to get the MMR shot here in the US before he leaves for his exam in London?

Sorry, I thought you said he was adjusting status in the US because he has been here for 14 years.  Guess I don't understand why he needs a visa to enter the US when he's already here. Your profile says AOS pending, not CR1visa, so confusing.

Yes there are four adult shots whether it's AOS or a visa. If you read my post again, I explained how Varicella and flu jabs will be waived, meaning he doesn't have to get them. So four jabs, cross off two and there are two remaining. Only two shots to pay for.

He came on a K3 visa and that means you cannot re-marry and adjust status here.  we have to go back to london for his interview and medical. He is on a ten year bar. Thanks for the link : )

Even more confused now.  Did he never get a green card on his K3? Just came and didn't bother? Are you the K3 spouse or was that another person?

I think his ten year ban will kick in when he leaves. You better check it all out carefully before leaving the US or he may not be back until 2027.  I think maybe you should be applying for AOS based on marriage to a US citizen if he never got a greencard. (I-130 plus I-485 filed together). Overstays are forgiven.

I am rusty on all this, so maybe Boiler will chime in. He knows a lot of stuff.

If you are going to London for a medical and interview, then you are applying for a visa, not doing adjustment of status.  AOS has a medical and interview in the US. Talk to your lawyer.
