looks like some movement on processing cases on the USCIS website today.  At this rate....looks like we may hear something early part of 2018.  ugh

Seattle moved from December 15, 2016 to December 25, 2016 under the Field Office Processing Times for N-400. Good times!

No issues came up really. I couldn't remember the exact date i lived somewhere but i told her the month and year. Also, few minor traffic offenses. I applied under 5-yr rule as well. He didn't look at any documents too..He just said he has to review the file some more. That's it. Maybe i'm been impatient but how long does he have to review my file?...This is like the last step and there's not clarity on the case

I had my interview on 11/02/2017. I passed the Civics and English test. The officer asked quite a lot of questions from the N400 Form as well.

I had a speeding ticket that I'd mentioned on the form and also told the officer about it to which she said it's not a big deal and shouldn't be a problem. She also asked to see our marriage certificate and my wife's citizenship certificate since we're applying under the 3-year marriage rule.

Towards the end, the officer told me that everything looks good in the case and there shouldn't be any problems, but she can't recommend the case for approval at the time since they had to verify marriage related documents since my case was under the marriage category. She said I could expect to hear something within the next 3-4 weeks :( She gave me the N652 form that stated that I had passed all the tests and the 'a decision could not be made at this time' remark.

I was really hoping to get an approval the same day so I'm kinda disappointed. Anyone with a similar experience before?

I had my interview on 10/19 and my case has been quiet ever since! I feel your frustration. This is the last step and they are just delaying things for God knows what reason.

@mia166, @SamBillz  @Huvvaligen and @rangrut Congrats on the progress on your case! Hope you have a speedy oath ceremony!@alejandreska a big congrats for reaching the finish line so soon! You are one lucky person ;)

This story scares me.. Did interviewer take any marriage-related document from you? Since you already got 10 years GC. why that so required??
