Contacting them shows you are interested in your case too, so maybe it will prod them to do something since your contact with the L2 if he/she put in some sort of inquiry upon your behalf after hanging up with you.

Okay, thanks. We had seen that list, but it seems like nothing compared to ALL that was required for the Removal of Conditions- like the affidavit, pictures, utility bills, etc

It all depends on how you filed----the 3 year filing requires sending in a bunch of documents, the 5 year filing requires very little.

Hello everyone!

Just an update: I'm excited to say that today I received my interview notice in the mail. Interview scheduled for Oct 23rd! 

My status did not change online (still says "In line for interview'), and I never received any emails or texts (just did the very first time when they received my N-400).

 

If someone could please update me on the list, thanks!!!

It's weird....my interview is in 4 days and I didn't start to become nervous/scared to death of it until this morning...

 

I keep feeling like I'm forgetting *something* in terms of documents I am bringing and I keep going over them with a fine-toothed comb.  I'm a worry-wart naturally, and this whole experience was really smooth and fine until this morning when doubt/nerves/anxiety started to kick in.  Almost like I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop, kind of feeling   I guess it's normal to think this way when a 15 minute one-time meeting with someone can decide your whole life?

Hi @Going through, yes it's perfectly normal. I remember during my I 485 interview, my spouse was nervous because our whole life depends on the officer's approval. At least there is not a deportation risk in this case. I just know you for a few months but you seem like a well-prepared and organized person. You will do great!!!!!!!!! Good luck!!! Please let us know how it goes! 😊

I remember the end of my AOS interview...the IO didn't say anything about whether we were approved or not, just stamped my passport with the i-515 stamp (I learned later what the stamp was) shook our hands, and walked us out.

 

In the car, my husband turned to me and slowly said "So....what exactly just happened?"  We were both too nervous to actually ASK the lady if we were approved, because we assumed she would have said something to that affect. lol

Oh my goodness!! My husband did the same exact thing! And I responded the same way you did 😂😂😂😂. The officer looked at us and said yup you guys are married 😆😆😆. What are the odds?????😂😂. It seems men are not good with dates!!! No offense to men in here ^____^.
