I couldn't submit travel stamp info in my case.  Canadian passports rarely, if ever, are stamped when travelling.  I filed with approximate dates, mentioned in my application my circumstances surrounding this, and then submitted a FOIA with both the Canadian and US borders for actual travel exits and entry dates to bring to the actual interview as official documentation.

 

I'm pretty sure USCIS has dealt with enough Canadians to not expect us to really have much in terms of proof of travel.  I've travelled dozens of times over the past 20 years and have never had my passport stamped.

Congrats @Going through!

 

I had my bio appointment today, a 4-hour drive round trip for a 5-minute appointment. At least one important step is completed and it went smooth, too. Now the real waiting game begins!

Thanks peachlings  I'm being cautiously optimistic though until an actual interview date is posted in my online account or the letter arrives in the mail.

It's weird how some people have to go so far for the biometrics!

I got the same message the day after my biometrics. That was 8/4, no letter yet... I'm thinking it might be a generic thing they post after you complete your biometrics.

 

Hopefully that isn't the case and we'll see our letters soon!

 

ETA: I got an email notification saying that my case was updated just today. But when I checked, nothing changed. Maybe a "touch"?

@Bsze if you received the exact same msg as @Going through did, you both will get the interview letters. So Please look at the msg you received because online filers getting two diff type of msgs...One that says you are "in line" and the other one like @Going through got. 

However it can take anywhere from 10 business days to one month to receive the letter looking at the discussions on the other site depending on how busy your field offices are. So give us the good news when u get the letter.

You may get a surprise in the mail soon.  I've learned from my own experience that  a "touch" after a case status update normally means that's the date when the physical letter was prepared and scanned into your case and mailed.  At least, that's been my experience with my phyiscal receipt letter and biometrics letter...my online status would update---and then a few days later get "touched" again, and then the postmarks on the mailed envelopes matched the newer touched dates.

 

You can see if it's a "touch" by checking the upper right hand corner of the screen and seeing if the date reflects today or yesterday.

@Going through: hey I was just curious. Did your estimated processing time and interview ever change ever since they have the feature? My status got updated this morning that they reviewed my bio and I dont have to do anything at this point. Estimated waiting time for interview 18 months from now lol . That just seems excessive because Dallas FO processing time is like a year.

Nope...that part still shows estimated completion time next year.

Right now, ELIS shows my interview has been scheduled and they will mail me an appointment letter, with the date of August 14th, in two different places on the site..  The myuscis site still shows my biometrics is being reviewed with the date of my biometrics August 8th.  

 

I'm taking ELIS's word over  it because that site always seems to be updated more regularly.
