Legally they have to adjudicate the case within 120 days after the interview....if I were you, I'd call USCIS and request an L2 officer so see if there is any info they can give you/put in an inquiry on your behalf (sometimes the nicer L2 officers will do this for you).  

i spoke to a tier two officer today and he wasn't helpful at all. He told me that the field office is still processing march cases so they are still withing processing times. Every officer gives different information smh

Hello, any one know how i can get "tax transcripts" for 2006, 2007 and 2008.

 

I called IRS, setup account etc but it seems i cannot get the "tax transcripts" from IRS in anyway for the years 2006, 2007 or 2008 because stautatory limit records are destroyed after 7 years by law.

So i am in big trouble if i cannot submit these transcripts but there seems to be no way i can get that old docs from IRS. Any input is greatly appreciated.

I have a few questions, if anyone can answer. Start to the year 2018 was great as i received a speeding ticket on 1/1/18 . My status online shows that I have been scheduled for an Oath Ceremony but the "Documents" tab does not have the appt letter uploaded yet (I know it takes a few days).  

 

I received a similar traffic violation a few years ago so i contacted a law firm, paid them $50. Long story short, by the time I appeared for my hearing it was already 1.5 years since the violation and my case got dismissed. I plan on doing the same this time around as well. 

 

Q1. My understanding is that i will need to take the citation to my oath ceremony and disclose this information. Will it cause for them to delay or object to me attending the Oath ceremony? I know I should have been more careful and my wife yelled at me for going over the speed limit but is it a cause for concern or am i just being paranoid?

 

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

The **MAIN** thing USCIS is going to want to see for traffic violations is that you paid the fine in full----take the citation *and* proof of payment to your oath ceremony incase proof is asked for.

 

If you contest the ticket and are scheduled to appear for a hearing (which more than likely would be AFTER your oath ceremony date) then you run the slight risk of not being able to take your oath due to the case still being "open". (this all depends on the USCIS rep at the oath ceremony)

 

Traffic violations are not normally a huge deal generally----but if you run into someone having a bad day....better to be safe than sorry.

Thank you @Going through. What you are saying makes sense. I shouldn't leave anything hanging on the day of my Oath. My court hearing is on Feb 6th so its definitely going to be before the oath ceremony. I am debating whether to appear for the hearing or pay out the ticket or take defensive driving. Decision time!!

Hi, 

 

I have been following the forum for a while now I decided to add myself to the list. Can someone please add me onto the time line? 

 

Filed N-400 with I-751 pending on July 28, 2017

Fingerprint done on August 18, 2017

Inline for interview on September 20, 2017

 

and the waiting continues until this point.......

 

My application is a bit special, I am the spouse of an active military member so I sent my N-400 application to the Chicago Lockbock based on the guideline, and my field office is Salt Lake City, UT. I have talked to several immigration officers regarding both of my cases that are pending, all I can so far is that both of my cases are physically in the Salt Lake City Field Office and waiting for it to be scheduled for an interview. Because my partner is the military member so I have an access to contact the military helpline for my N-400 process, that's where I got all my information from basically to confirm that both of my files are in the field office, but apparently it is still pending for background checks. Salt lake city is one of the slowest offices so I am just waiting at this point.

I just got a letter from USCIS that for unforeseen circumstances they canceled my interview for my citizenship.

I just can’t believe it.

it’s been almost 21 months My 10 year gc is pending and now they canceled my interview and I’m not sure when they will schedule the next time.

when was your original date for your interview and did you get a new date?

I booked an infopass for Feb the 5th to go to the local office and ask them what's going on.

My original date was 9/20, and my new date is now 2/20.
