Mine was filed last year, December. I was just checking timelines and found you guys who gets interviews so quickly. One I saw was in St. Paul.

I have a question for online filers. Is the below a receipt notice or NOA or they are the same? I am getting confused. I received this notice when I applied online few days ago and have not received anything after that.

That's the receipt notice that they have received your payment for your application and that it was properly submitted online.

That's NOT the receipt notice that they have begun *processing* your application as properly filled out.  You will receive that in the mail.

Nope.

 

I got an email notification that my case was touched 8/30. The portal still shows that I'm due for my interview, even though it lists my interview descheduled letter. Bah.

You ever tried calling them since they de-scheduled you to see if they have moved you into another slot yet?

This may be a case where "playing dumb" on the phone might work in your favor I'm thinking...

 

Like "HI, I was scheduled for an interview on _______ and then on _______ they said it was cancelled---how long until I get the new interview letter?"

 

Although I'm also thinking they probably won't reschedule you until the "old" date actually passes...

Yeah, I've been meaning to try that, but life has gotten in the way. LOL!
