Hi All, What does "In Line" in the tracker mean? How do you know when you are "In Line"?

09/12/16 : package received

10/11/16: Biometrics

07/28/17: I551 stamp on passport expired 07/27/18

Int Ltr: Date you received the official letter in the mail regarding interview.

After you complete your biometrics, and before your interview date---you are put "In Line" which means that your biometrics have cleared, and USCIS has begun the process of scheduling an interview for you at your Field Office.

 

On average, it takes roughly 30 days from the date you complete your biometrics to be put "In Line"...and then on average anywhere from 3-6 months to be slotted into an actual interview date, all dependent on how backlogged your Field Office is.

Guys, just came across this post on the May 2017 N-400 filers forum. If you open an account with USPS and select "Informed Delivery" under "My Preferences", USPS will email you scanned images of the outside of your incoming letters the morning before they are delivered to their physical mailbox. I already signed up. It reduces some of the anxiety of when the letters will arrive. :)

Hello to day I check mail mail and found the fp letter. But they not update my case on internet I don't know why. Appoiment 8.8.17

Recieved my NOA today dated July 26. My tracking number starts with NBC as I filed with my lawyer and not online. 

 

How do I create an account with USCIS to see scanned documents they send me and to track my case?  Does that only work if you filed online and recieved an IOE tracking number?

You need to sign up here https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do and add your receipt number in your account.
