this better not be true. we can not wait. have to leave the day of the interview and get back to work. Please post where you saw that information.

If the info is true or not, you still cant leave after your interview. If approved they will keep your passport and wont return it until its ready with the visa and your othet paperwork. Like the other post it can take days to weeks all depends.

But I haven't heard about this at all and I've searching for it as well.

Our lawyer told us because he also set up our pick up location the ASC he said the embassy doesn't use DHL in Juarez only in other states in Mexico if you chose to wait outside of Juarez

Oh ok well if you live in Mexico you can have it sent to another state in Mexico. I thought you wanted to come back to the US sorry.

It's cool. I'm a rare case. But I want the op to elaborate on where he saw that people must wait in Juarez for the visa. I'm not paying an arm and a leg and the government is taking away services.

Its a new(er) option that they have given to people so they can pick it up at ASC if they are waiting in Juarez. I wonder if this speeds up the process of getting your visa in hand since there is no longer a third party involved. I have posted this question to other Members on this forum, but have not received an answer. If y'all have experience this or know of anybody that recently went and picked it up at the ASC, please do share the experience. My wife and I will be going the week of the August 7th, and would like to know as much info as we can. Thanks

I remember reading I think in a group on fb or thru google search that its supposedly quicker if you have it thru ASC. If I find it again I will post it here.
