Filed in March still waiting on NOA2

Hey Everyone

 

Its been almost 4 months for us but still waiting on NOA2...I see a lot of March filers with similar dates as ours (March 17th)  that have already got their NOA2's but for some reason when my attorney called me today (don't know why I wasted my money) he told me that USCIS was still working on January 1th cases...hmmm but why is it couples that filed in March getting their NOA2's...So I ended up calling them myself and got the same answer.. Now I'm starting to think that there is something wrong with our paperwork...At this point not sure what to believe & who to listen to...So annoyed and lost ....What can it be??? What should we expect???

4 months is still normal even if you see others getting approved before you. We waited 6 months for our approval last year, as an example. 

 

There's nothing you can do about it so try to relax and spend your time doing other things than worrying about it. You're within normal processing time, you can't compare your case with others'.

The processing might also slow down a bit now because people go on vacation, hard to know for sure how that will pan out though.

That's exactly what i been trying to do but nothing that i do helps...i just find that 2 be not fair and annoying

Filers from January, and February including myself are still waiting as well. Nothing to do, but wait.
