I have some question how to file I-864, Part 6 for "Federal Income Tax Return Information".

I am a US citizen sponsoring my mother. I don't work but my husband works and have W2 form and we file joint tax return every year and my name is on our joint tax returns as (my name) and (his name) on top of the forms.

In Part 6 of I-864 form, page 5, I checked item 1.d. "Unemployed" since 01/01/2001 and indicated my husband as a person who filed I-864A to support my mother.
Also on page 6, Part 6 at "Federal Income Tax Return Information", item number 18.a. "Have you filed a federal income tax return for each of the three most recent tax year?" I checked "YES" because of our joint tax return, but I'm not sure what I need to indicate at items 19.a., 19.b., and 19.c. For me it looks like I need to put numbers from our 1040 form of our joint tax return.

I need to know if I file it correctly or not.

I appreciate any suggestions.

Hi. You need to put in the numbers from your tax return on 19.a, 19.b and 19.c. I am also unemployed the last 2 years of filling but still put in the numbers from our joint tax return. I hope i am right ;)
