Hello, just wanted to double check on a few things. Before I begin I guess I should specify, I'm currently in Canada but hopefully moving to America to marry and be with my fiancee . My fiancee received the two emails below and when I enter in my case number on ceac it says it's ready. While I have not received packet 3 in the mail, I have run it off and began working on a couple of the requirements. I sent in my DS-160 already and have the slip with the bar code printed off. I tried following an admittedly old guide and when I tried contacting the DoS (202-663-1225), it said I had contacted a "non working number". Montreal Embassy just gave me an email to contact, I specified it was a k1 and they gave me the immigrant visa email instead of the non-immigrant visa email grr. Everything is all electronic now so it's a little confusing. So my main question would be if it says it's ready on ceac, does that mean everything has been logged and I can proceed? Can I actually carry on with this or do I have to wait? Any responses would be greatly appreciated  .

I (and a few others) recently submitted our packet 3 once the tracker said ready, but we all received emails that said to wait for instructions (which we took to mean they weren't ready).  Mine will have said ready for 2 weeks this Thursday and I haven't heard anything yet.  The other girls have been ready longer than me and also haven't received anything.
