Sydney Consulate - I-134 details

Hi All,

i have my interview later this month (woo!) at the Sydney Consulate.

I have all my paperwork ready, however, I have a question about the I-134 Affidavit of Support.

My fiance put a rough/rounded-up figure for his salary and bank balance when he filled out the form - so, whilst the income & savings on the form are very close to the info on his tax return & bank statement, they're not the EXACT same amount. (For example, say his salary is 24,120 on his tax return - it says 25,000 on the I-134 form.) It's not EXACTLY the same, but it's close.

Is this going to be a problem.....? Do the figures on the I-134 form have to be precisely the same as what's on the tax return and bank statement?

Thanks so much for any help in advance!

Not a problem. Figures can be rounded up :)

Based on the IRS tax transcripts, the figures are rounded up. Aren't you using the IRS figures?
