It's probably 60/40 in our house. We take turns just because of our odd working schedules. I'm a bit of a food purist so we always cook from scratch. Nowt comes from a a packet or freezer cos I just can't stand additives and ####### in food. We even make our own yoghurt. Mr Lou Lou wasn't the best of cooks when I met him, but he's been a good pupil and now makes a mean roast dinner (better than I ever will), and can cook eggs any style to perfection every time. I'm the one who cooks the curries, Thai meals, and chillis...the easy stuff. :P

Husband, the non-USC, does at least 99% of the cooking. And lately, he's been sharing in the cleaning up too. Oops.

This is why I ordered a dishwasher last week. :)

I the non-USC do most of the cooking and cleaning up but hubby does all the bringing home the money so I guess that's fair

He does like to BBQ so I get him to do that a sometimes....

or I will get him to help me chop stuff when I am cooking sometimes....

I do most of the household stuff too, since I don't work and Hubby does.

I do most of the cooking. I like to cook anyway. Sujeet cooks once or twice a week though. On Saturdays or Sundays, he'll crave some Indian food that I don't know how to make, so he makes it. He cooks really goooood food.

Right now, both of us because we're apart. When he gets here, we'll still share because I'll want to cook him some of my favorite stuff, and he's going to cook me some African food.

My wife does the cooking. She's not schooled in cooking, but, whenever she tastes a meal she already knows how to cook. I bring her to restaurants, and she learned the ingredients immediately upon eating the first bite.

Not even close......

My wife! husband (non USC).

And thank god for that! Because if the cooking had to be left up to me ..................we'd be ordering a LOT of take-out.

I can scramble an egg. That's about as far as my culinary skills go.

Not only does she he do basically ALL the cooking...........fortunately for me, she's he's a wonderful cook! Makes the best Turkish dishes :) (I'd like to get him working on that one, though!)

heya bud.. mind if I just steal your answer? :)

Here's another one in same situation. My wife (non USC) does the cooking.

Dude & dudette, thanks for the answer

My wifer(non-USC) does most of the cooking. I like to cook, and do it on the weekends, or if she's had a rough day. Since she's at home most of the time, it makes sense.

My husband cooks almost exclusively. Before it was because he worked less hours. Now, it's cause he's faster and better at it. If he cooks, I clean up after him. Works well for us.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

If you're talking canned goods, and box goods then I can. However, if you're talking about cooking from scratch then it has to be my wife.
