Your case might be take longer to process at the consulate, due to background checks.

I recommend that you don't post that kind of picture. Americans are nuts. It is absurd that people in the US can fire arms to the street in some states, but they report you to the FBI and DHS.

Just an FYI  (from a liberal in a red state)......

I can promise you....it is illegal to fire guns into any street.

What the hell do they think?  Guns are sold in every street in the US or most of the republican states.  If it's just a  hunting gun like if you go animal hunting.  November is the deer hunting season in the States and they all use rifles to hunt them . Not only this in every grocery store there is all kinds of blends and herbs for deer marination which is the only way to eat them is to hunt them with a rifle.  so #######?

No one can say for sure if you will be placed on AP. If your name pops up in their database, than you can expect to be on AP for a few months. If this situation  happen years ago and case was closed, then I really don't think you will have any issues.

Try not to over think this too much and when it comes time for your interview, just be calm, friendly and honest. I hope for you the best. When is your interview?

Think about it, with all the security now a days,  and your picture holding a gun,  USCIS is taking every precaution now a days.  If USCIS would of seen that woman's face book page that came here on a K1 visa to California,  maybe people would not be dead by now , San Bernardino , Ca. Dec 2015

You will most likely be in AP with or without that pic being seen that seems to be the norm for MENA men.

Be calm at interview, and if the picture comes u in the interview, answer CALMLY and explain the situation.

Just wait it out, I hope all goes well.
