It's too late to be mindful of the age 18 requirement.  You're married and the children were whatever age they were when you married.  If they were under 18 when you married, they can immigrate as long as they remain unmarried and under 21, under exactly the same process you are immigrating.  Any child over 18 already the day you were married, is not your husband's stepchild for immigration purposes.
