co-sponsor's taxes cut off line 38

hello I just noticed looking at my joint-sponsor's taxes that on his 1040 line 38 is totally cut off. I called them and they said that the form they have is also missing it and they had H&R block do it for them. I feel like this is going to be a huge deal because it is the 2016 taxes the only one we really need. 2014 and 2015 taxes are fine but this one is cut off . The information on line 38 is taken directly from the information on the previous page...... Does anyone know if this will be an issue? I don't think they will be willing to get another form for me.

They should contact H&R and get a new, correct copy of that page.

I don't think it's an issue because the same amount shows on the previous page but it can always be re copied easily

at H&R.

I wish they would, but they basically told me they don't want to have to get any other paperwork and they are done helping.

My parents also offered to be the co-sponsor, they have SSDI. I sent her all of the necessary paperwork (i-134, proof of citizenship, bank statements, SSDI w2 form, etc.) for her to use my parents, just in case there was a problem .

If we are going to be denied because of 1 line missing I will tell her to use my parents instead.

even if it's easy he told me that he doesn't want to have to get anymore paperwork   I am kind of stuck with what I have at this point.

Maybe she could just make a call to H&R and tell them to fax that one page instead of going there personally or call for the IRS

and request transcripts be send to her. That phone call takes 2 minutes.

it's my uncle that we were going to use as the co-sponsor. He rudely told me not to ask for anything else, I won't beg him to do it if he already said he wont. I understand that it is a lot to ask from someone, I just want her here

Yes I understand and don't think you will have a problem with it.

joint sponson should get IRS transcript / easy to get / just walk into IRS office and show ID and ask for offical transript
