Hi, its me Tajdar Alam from Pakistan. I am a professional journalist and have been selected for a journalists exchange program fellowship (Oklahoma) university. I have been appear on 25 May for interview at Islamabad US embassy but consular put my visa on administrative process 221 (g). He told me that soon we will let you know about your visa status but not it has been almost 45 days since my interview and still no sign of any decision about my visa status. If I do not get my visa till to 9th or 10th of this month than University will select alternate as a my replacement. So I request to concerned authorities to take serious action regarding my visa because only two days are left in the deadline.

This is just a forum. No one has any authority over your visa application here. Try calling the embassy to check instead. Other than that, there's not much you can do.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

I'm sorry but the 9th is Sunday so that means that only Monday is left and to be very honest I don't think you'll get it in time.

 

Very normal people (especially men) from your country is in AP for longer time. We are taking months and sometimes year.
