Tax Documentation - Marriage-Based AOS

Hi all,

 

I received a Request for Initial Evidence (I-485) for an Adjustment of Status Application about 2 weeks ago. USCIS is requesting that I submit all supporting tax documentation for/from the petitioner, who in my case is my wife, for the most recent year (2016).

 

I am about to submit the tax documentation but I wanted to make sure that I have everything that I need beforehand. My partner filed her original W-2s from last year a couple months ago and we are now submitting her Tax Return and Account IRS transcripts along with her TurboTax tax return transcript. Should I also submit Form W-2 from IRS? Please let me know as I was not able to pull that one up online and would need to fax IRS to request her W-2s.

you only need one, if you have the tax transcripts, that's the best one,

 

tax transcripts, W2s, payment stubs, letter of employment,  never file original w2s now she doesn't have the original

 

only copies of the w2s are needed

Should I procure copies of the W-2s and submit them along with the tax transcript? As I said in my previous post, we have already filed her original W-2s from last year.
