Hello, my husbands interview is on a Tuesday morning. I set up his medical appt the Monday before at 6 am and his biometrics at 1:50.Does anyone think I should leave the week before to get everything ready I called Servicios medicos de la frontera and they stated the medical would be ready the same day so I find it kind of pointless to leave the Thursday before to have the medical done 2 business days prior . I don't know what the outcome of the interview will be and I don't want to spend unneeded time In Juarez. Can anyone tell me about their experience and how they timed everything ?

My fiancée wnet thru the process in Juarez while we stayed their for 3 days  I can say you could get things done in 2 days. If I remember correctly we had the exam done in the morning (it's usually a morning of Waiting) and the Biometrics in the afternoon. The exam facility asks that you pickup your exam starting at 2p they usually do this by calling up everyone of the exams done that day in no particular order. Remember that you have to be at the Bio appt at the time designated, we were turned away by trying to do it earlier. However the Bio appt takes about 5 min tops.

This is great. Thank you so much one more question do they tell you to go back for medical results at a certain time or they tell you to go after a certain time what if (worst case scenario)we are unable to make it back from biometrics appt in  in time?

From what my fiancée remembers they asked everyone in at the same time so the whole left side of the lobby that's full of chairs as you walk in was full of people waiting on results

Ok so they just ask you to go back after a certain time ?

Oh they didnt give u the option of choosing ASC the place where you get your fingerprints done?

Is it the same place? To be honest I haven't looked into it but it says cuidad Juarez Asc. But I didn't realize it was the same place it actually makes sense though since we registered and made the appt on the website

I know what your going through believe me, I really had to take a deep breath and forget about it a few days and I'm realizing that worse case scenario something may go wrong and my husband may have to stay a little longer than expected, but there is no way they are keeping him there forever even if they ask for additional paperwork that we don't have we'll get it. Now unless  your marriage isn't legit than the only thing the embassy can do is keep you your wife there a little longer than expected. I wouldn't worry to much anymore if I were you because it's completely out of your hands at this point. Just have some faith

And if they do ask for it at the embassy than I'm sure they won't mind an updated copy and at that point you'd have your lawyer fill it out again simple and she'll be back in the us within a few weeks

Do you think I should make one myself and take it with us? I kind of don't wanna do that do because how about if it's different from the one I sent? Will it be a problem.?

  • Appointment in Juarez consular October 6,2016 @ 9:45

When I sent the package with all the documents to NVC I forgot the police certificate paper, they told me I could just take it to the interview.

Since we are Jehovah Witnesses, we stayed with our brothers from the religion, we saved a lot money, on a hotel.

They also drove us every where or we took la ruta (universitaria) or uber is much  cheaper than a taxi.

Plan accordingly a lot of traffic.

Tuesday- arrived in Juarez

Wednesday - medican exam at Clinica Medical Internacional (CMI)

Take; if you have appointment take confirmation number (if not just make sure you go from 6am-11), passport, P4 consulate appointment letter, vaccines record

You can eat before appointment.

Husband appointment  was @ 8:00 but we arrived at 7 and they took him right in, literally took less than 30 mins.

In and out real quick.

My husband said, his experience was really quick and when you pee in the cup it was awkward someone is there watching you not pour someone's else's pee in the cup. Also, they ask if you have tattoos and piercings. If you have vaccines take documentation of it, husband had a total of three shots. Paid total- $415 dollars

Went back for resulta @ 1:30. DONT OPEN RESULTS iN BLACK ENVELOPE.

Thursday- fingerprints @ 7:50

Be on time.

Take passport, P4 consulate appointment letter, DS-260, fingerprint appointment.

Be in and out real quick, less than 15 minutes.

They give you back your papers and those exact papers take to your interview. They staple a little blue paper to the P4 consulate appointment letter and DS-260, never knew what that was for but those you need for interview.

Friday- appointment consulate @ 9:45

Take all your documents, the P4 consulate appointment letter had a checklist make sure you take everything.

Original documents are birth certificate, marriage certificate, and police certificate

Translations - not needed all my documents where in Spanish, but to be safe everything was translated

My husband experience at the interview, he went to the bathroom and his group went in and made him be last, so make sure you pay attention inside. In the interview took less than 3 minutes, all they asked him was his name, his petitioners name, if he had tattoos, and that's it. You have been approved. 🙂

No one allowed inside with the applicant, everyone was waiting outside but it was to hot for that, so I went to the Nueva Central that is located next to CMI clinic and waited there (coffee and yummy bread), waited 2 hours for my husband to come out, if you wait some where else make sure you tell them where..

We decided not to wait in Juarez for my husband documents, since it was on Friday his interview, Saturday and Sunday don't count, so we would had to wait until Tuesday to pick them up (I think). When I was outside waiting for my husband I heard people say that a couple had been waiting 2 weeks for there documents. But who knows everyone is different I think...

***** hope this review helps. I read a lot of reviews and they sure did help us. So hopefully our experience can help others.
