I'm still waiting for a word from USCIS. The last update I got was that my RFE response has been received. That was on 8/30. I originally filed July 5th but my package was rejected so I resent it around July 22nd. My husband is a visa overstay and I'm a naturalized USC. Besides the overstay he has done nothing wrong so I hope and pray that we will get approved. We received or EAD/AP on 11/1.

Alright, just go back home from my wife's I-485 interview, went well, our officer mostly asked us questions off the form, asked us for our medical, and just asked us how we met. Said our case was very approvable with plenty of bona fides and had us sign a form about removing conditions and said if approved we would get the card in 3-4 weeks and to keep an eye on the mail for the next week. Just waiting for a text and email hopefully saying we are approved but we shall see. I am relieved but my wife is still gonna freak out until the card is in her hand. I imagine she just has to go over the medical which is, in my opinion, why we weren't approved on the spot. Will let y'all know when we get the sms/email regarding hopefully a case change for approval.

Yeah not at two years yet we just had to sign something saying we understand we would have to acknowledge that conditions would have to be removed. Still waiting on text/email/letter so hopefully there isn’t some hold up.

So the e gov site shows still scheduled for interview but the newer myuscis account is showing approved as of Tuesday 27 March, so we are done for two years it looks like, just waiting for the notice and the card. Thank goodness.
