I applied for advance parole on May 16th. I need to travel mid september and USCIS representatives are saying they cant guarantee The parole will be on time. Can I request it yo be expedited? If so, how should I do it? Will they ask for extra evidence? Thanks

No this would be expedited not emergency. There are different procedures. I'm trying to understand how expediting works. If someone knows of a real example would be great to know how it worked out

Thank you Georgia I have seen that and read all The rules but in practice USCIS operates differently and the rules are not always how they actually process cases. Eg. A friend requested her parole on The same date i did and for the same reasons but she got hers approved already because she marked expedited when she filed the i-131. Thats why i want to know if i can request it be expedited after i already filed it. If somebody has real life examples please help.

Expedited Processing for Advance Parole

If your need to travel is not immediate, but meets USCIS expedite criteria, you can ask U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to expedite your Advance Parole application with the relevant service center.
