Absolutely!  I read someone got an interview letter on Saturday morning, so definitely give them a call!  Otherwise, I thought it was very misleading from NVC reps to give inaccurate information - there is just really no obstacle to scheduling October interviews since dates are current

Just called. Nothing yet. Guy just read off a script saying that I would not be placed back in the interview queue until my priority date is current. Not much I can do but wait. The agents dont seem to know anything other than what's on their computer, as we already knew..

Hello guys,  I just got the dreaded checklist mail from Nvc stating they won't accept me and my wife police report that I should get another one,  I can remember  I followed the instructions on their site,  to get this one from cid  office at ikoyi,  or is there anywhere  else,  some one please guide me as to how to get the proper one thanks

Did you send it with the finger print pages? If you didn't, that must be the problem. I got a checklist for that too. I wish you good luck.

Well I sent it with fingerprints to my agency,  so do I get a fresh one,  and after submitting, how long did uvwait to get a c,  thanks

You need to check with them if they sent the complete 3 pages plus usually, the issue is stated on the checklist. You will need to get another one if that one expired already. I had to wait another 8.6 weeks. May I know your agency? You can PM me with the information if you don't mind. Thanks.

I just replied. Another thing you can do is to call NVC for clarifications but they get confused too.

@enigma992 You should have been the first one scheduled!  Hopefully, you will get news early with the next wave!  Keep us posted.  Why don't you email the consulate like I did?  I think you did it in the past and it didn't work.  Can't wait to hear that you got it!

 

My case showed "in transit" Friday afternoon.  Tickets are now booked and we will be working on med exam, finalizing other items for the interview.

I called and was told to follow what was in the mail sent to me,  buy I made it known to the agent that if I do follow the mail I will end up with the same documents I sent,  so I asked what was wrong with the one I sent,  she now said she will forward it to a supervisor  and it could take 6 weeks but the call dropped and I can't get them since,  well I have mailed my agency to see what next to do,  still waiting for the agency,  Will still call Nvc tomorrow
