I just called and got the same answer "no". I am having hard time to understand their method. Athens Embassy is not a busy center and people in the past got their interviews in a short time. But now there is something wrong which I could not figure out. In Greece people are too much relaxed and not too much into working, especially in summertime. I thought maybe people are all on vacation including Embassy officers. I even asked the rep "is it possible Embassy forgot to send the list to you for the last 2 months? " She said every month they automatically update the slots which I am not sure whether true or not. The truth at this time I am still on hold...Will try tomorrow... Keep try to call  .That for automatic  update is good to know from the inside,  wish you luck on other call tomorrow .Keep faith......and you made it hope for  this week..

So I feel your pain, you would think you could rely on the immigration lawyers to get it right.

 

Looking at the spreadsheet from last year, there was one EB-2 from Canada who had a CC in early July and they received the interview notification at the end of August for October. So at least last year, they seem to have scheduled interviews for October at the end of August even though EB-2 PD was not current. Hopefully they will do the same this year.

My lawyer is the queen of delays. I had to be on top of her for the past few years just so she could submit on time and not miss deadlines. She really really reallyyyyyyy delayed the submission of my papers to the NVC and I used to tell her that one day my priority date won't be current anymore and I'd like to avoid that. Of course what I was fearing happened coz she's so effin slow! I should have moved to the US a year ago if she had moved at a normal pace. Anyway we've made it this far and hopefully it's just a matter of a few weeks and this will all have a happy ending 😊

For whoever asked me to state what my NVC status checker says, a few hours after receiving the P4 email yesterday it changed from 'AT NVC' to 'In Transit'.

I sent an email to my Embassy about my interview date and here is the answer. Any thoughts?     Do they need  to receive the case from NVC beforehand? What NVC tells us is Embassy first releases the slots.

We have not yet received the case file from the National Visa Center (NVC). After the necessary fees, forms, and documents have been collected, and when the priority date is current, NVC will schedule an interview with our office.

Congrats!  Did you get a letter or was it through a phone call?
