Hi Guys!

We finally got our NOA2 :jest:after exactly many many days of waiting. Really do not want to waste any time on my side.

Of course I would call NVC after two weeks. Am I missing anything that I should do ASAP?

The following is copied from Auckland Consulate info page of VJ, but it's about a year old. Is there any change to this yet?

Packet 3 Contains: *K1 visa instructions checklist
*New Zealand Police criminal convictions clearance form
*New Zealand Police personal information form
*Medical check forms to be taken to your medical check, includes addresses and contact details of approved medical centres.

Oh: is there any point calling NVC any more? I just realised that I would need Packet 3 to do anything. Knowing the NVC case number would not help me in any way, would it?

The only real use for the case number is to track where your case is using the CEAC tracker. When you have the case number, you are able to see if the case is still at the NVC, 'In Transit' to the consulate, or 'Ready' at the consulate. Usually once the case is listed as 'Ready' you will be sent Packet 3.

I called NVC and they gave me the case number. How do i know exactly when case was received at NVC?

Just curious

The only way to know the date that the case arrived at the NVC is to ask them over the phone. Since you have the case number, you can now track where it currently is on the CEAC tracker. :)
