PLEASE HELP ME

I called the NVC to ask for my case number just now. I talked to a nice CSR, she asked for my date of birth, I answered her, she keeps on asking for my DOB.. then she said I'm sorry it didn't match to our system. I said, "how could this be? When it is my date of birth?" She said she understood, and she said it's the system's mistake. So she told me to send an email to the NVC, with a copy of my birth certificate and passport biopage.. I asked them how long will it take them to process that and she said she's not sure. :((

Anyone with the same problem before? What should we do?

How long will it take them to update or correct my birth date?

Probably 30-60 days.

They're very backlogged.

Yes, it was a quick resolution for the last person that I saw this happened to. NVC seems to be on top of their game every time I have called them. Just follow their instructions.

I believe it was @SkruDe but I could be wrong because it was a few months ago that I read about the problem.  If it was him though, he might be able to reassure you that the problem was taken care of rather quickly :)
