I have used WesternUnion and several others but I use Xoom now, it is a subsidiary of Paypal,  they charge $4.50 per transfer and she is usually able to access the money in the afternoon 2-3 days after I send it.  My wife's account is with Bangkok Bank.

Hope this helps.

What is the best way to send money to Thailand.  I will be sending direct to a bank account.  Unfortunately my credit Union will not do foreign transfers.  Western Union takes 4 days to complete the transfer.  Is there another service that is faster?

Thank you

Hello not sure if this is still applical or has been discussed but try the Wise app or Wise.com iv been sending money twice a month for the last 6 months an the transfer has a great exchange rate sometimes close to 38BTH to a dollar. if you do a ACH transfer its less than 30 seconds for the transfer an the fee is usually around 5$ to 7$ for a 400$ transfer. An it goes directly into my fiance`s checking account.
