administrative processing + traveling with another visa

I have to attend a conference on July 20th. I have a B1 visa till 2020 but there is a water mark on the upper left part of the photo. Even though the features are clear, there is some discoloration. The bar code etc at the bottom of the visa are in perfect condition. So I applied for another B1 visa and had the interview on 15th May. My case has been in administrative processing. I would like to know whether I can take a chance and travel with the older visa?

You B1 was probably cancelled because you applied for a new one. How long AP takes it depends on the country.

 

You can email them and ask. Tell them about the conference.

 

It is hard for any of us to say whether you'll get your passport in time.
