I was wondering if anyone knew if Morocco has a rule about how old an Apostille stamp/signature can be when filing for a K1

While I don't have a specific answer it seems most everything in Morocco expires in 90 days so I'd try to keep it within that. That was my plan for when we get married next year. (I still fail to understand how a birth certificate can expire)

During my interview they didn't even take my apostilles, they returned them to me.

I am loking to get my certified divorce signed off by an apostille.  90 days seems ok.  I want to file all of the papers all at one time

From my understanding of the Apostille program in Morocco it is used when bringing your foreign documents into Morocco for things such as marriage or residency, including birth certificates and any official document that the Moroccan government would need to verify was an official document.  I do not believe that as a U.S. citizen I would be required to obtain an Apostille stamp on any of my documents while going through the visa process. However, I am uncertain if my husband who is a Moroccan would be required to obtain the Apostille stamp on any of his official Moroccan documents for the US consulate. Though we spoke to a certified translator in Rabat who does a lot of translations for the consulate and he said the Apostille was not needed.

I know that a divorce has to be certified by the courts and most countries want a divorce decree, which is usually done thru the secretary of state.  I just didnt know how long the validity of the apostille stamp is good for in Morocco.  I think I should be ok seeing that once I send the documents to USCIS its out of my hands.
