k1 visa police clearance needed?

Hi,

 

my fiancee and iI decided to start the visa application on October for K1 visa where my fiancee will submit his side in the embassy which will take 4-5 months which will also give me time until January 2018 to finish my contract here in UAE and come home in philippines for good and start the real process of k1 visa there.

 

my question is when I started the k1 visa application in philippines, do i have to to obtain a police clearance from UAE since I worked here for 2 years or just a police clearance from philippines only?

Make sure you find out when the police clearance expires so that way it is still valid when u submit all your documents

She is a K-1 it has to be valid at her interview where she will bring it she won't include it in the package so yes it has to be valid for a while.

UAE police certificates are only valid for 3 months. So you need to get it later and time it well to make sure it is still valid by the time you appear for your interview. 

Passport 17-Feb-22 Drop-off at USPS (expedited processing and shipping) ~ 22-Feb-22 Status: In Process ~ 08-Mar-22 Passport book shipped ~ 09-Mar-22 Status: Approved. Passport book in hand.

N-400     28-Jun-21 Filed online ~ 28-Jun-21 Received NOA + "Biometrics will be re-used" notice ~ 14-Dec-21 Interview scheduled ~ 25-Jan-22 Interview. Approved. Case status: Oath will be scheduled.  ~ 01-Feb-22 Oath scheduled. ~ 14-Feb-22 Oath ceremony.
