Just want to know how long does processing petitioning spouse if you are LPR.Is it better to wait for citizenship to make the processibg faster?

It takes about 2 years for a LPR and about a year for a USC.

You can petition as a LPR and when you become a citizen upgrade your petition.

How long do you have left until USC? The issue is that people applying for citizenship are having to wait a while to get it (there seems to be a backlog). So unless your citizenship is 6 months away, I'd apply now as a LPR.

Thank you all so much I have to wait 2020 to Be a citizen but Im so ready to petition my spouse so soon! also the two years is the total amount of waiting?

In that case you can petition your spouse now as an lpr presently the wait time from petition to interview is about 2 years.

Unfortunately, yes. There are yearly quotas for spouses of LPR. 

 

If she gets a visitor visa, she can visit you.

It takes approximately two years at the present rate from submission of petition to interview, after interview beneficiary can be placed in administrative processing (for different reasons) and the length of time for AP can vary from days to years before immigrant visa is approved and issued.  After entering the US is when the green card is received once fee for it is paid.

thanks Tracy,so the greencard she will recieve here in the states is conditional or ten yrs already this depends on how long uve been married right? And how about her working permit and permit to travel same two yrs?

The GC will allow her to work and travel. 

 

If married under 2 years when a person arrives the 2 year GC

If married 2 years or over when a person arrives then the 10 year GC.

 

Since you guys will be married over 2 years when she arrives then she will get the 10 year GC.

Hey Molie, I got if from my ex USC born Ex spouse through Vawa I-360 she abused me and found out was cheating on me and so I hired a lawyer and thank God was able to have a 10 yr LPR.
