K1 Visa on hold from last 3 years at Sydney Consulate

Hi Everyone,

I would need a professional advise on my case, we have submitted our k1 visa petition back in 2014 October, which was approved and sent to Consulate General of US in Sydney for an interview. I appeared in interview in December 2014 where the case officer has put the case on administrative processing, couple of weeks after me and my fiancee was interviewed again over the phone which was successful, making us wait for 3 months they refused the visa based on misinterpretation without letting us know what they doubt. after continuous struggle and hiring an attorney we were finally told they they have doubted the birth certificate. The birth certificate was then attested by the local municipality, foreign ministry and high commission of Pakistan in Australia and was submitted back through lawyer which was accepted and case was reopened, in 2015 i was asked to attend 3rd interview which the officer had not much to say just got my documents and it was finished. after atlas 1.5 years of further wait i was asked to do the medicals again and bring all the relevant documents with me to appear for the 4th interview which was on 18th April 2017, the case officer even apologised for kept us hanging for this long and after asking couple of questions congratulated me by saying that visa is finally approved and that they are going to send the stamped passport back to me with in one week. its now already 2.5 month where i just got one email from them that they have put the case on administrative processing and sent a same questioner with all my information which is submitted for more then 10 times to them. we are so frustrated with their attitude and non professional behaviour, no matter what email we write they will just send a pre composed reply without even reading our query. We don't have a single bad paper on us nothing bad in our record are they playing some sort of a game with us??? can please someone tell what's going on with them how do we put a full stop to it.

This is a DIY forum not a source of Professional advice, you mention Pakistan and AP - security checks, that combination can for obvious reasons takes some time to clear.

Thanks for your prompt response, just to update you the security and background checks are all performed already in these 3 years, on the basis of which they approved the visa. That's the prolonged wait again after the approval.

Even after the clear statement that i will get back my passport in 1 week? And if it comes last what were they doing with all the documents in these 3 years. Literally i dont stand it.

You should be able to get your Passport back in the mean time.

That is very long AP, but not unheard of for men from your birth country.

Has your US fiancee contacted the Immigration experi in her local Congressman's office to see if they can find out more?

Yes she tried contacting the NVC, they said we dont know anything about the case as it was sent to Australia in 2014 since then we dont have any update. Congressman's office was contacted long ago but they coudnt get the proper reason. Now she has contacted the office again, they have sent us the information and concent forms today to fill and return to them.
