Lost enough stuff in the mail between the Philippines and here. Anyone know of a sure easy acceptable way to obtain said photo and print to the requirements? Paper etc? I have a color laser printer here. Anyone know if they would accept taking that and printing on glossy card stock from that? Can I take the image somewhere (kinkos, wallgreens etc on digital format and have them spit one out?)

Commandment #5. Photographs You must submit one color passport-style photograph of yourself and one color passport-style photograph of the beneficiary taken within 30 days of filing this petition. The photos must have a white to off-white background, be printed on thin paper with a glossy finish, and be unmounted and unretouched. The color passport-style photos must be 2 by 2 inches. The photos must be in color with full face, frontal view on a white to off-white background. Head height should measure 1 to 1 3/8 inches from top of hair to bottom of chin, and eye height is between 1 1/8 to 1 3/8 inches from bottom of photo. Your head must be bare unless you are wearing headwear as required by a religious denomination of which you are a member. Using a pencil or felt pen, lightly print your name and A-Number (if any) on the back of the photo.

Walgreens does passport photos.

Costco does it too.

Please do not wear glasses. They stop allowing that since November 2016 I think :)

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

Personally I took our passport photos by myself in a good resolution , edited them (there are numerous web pages that edit the passport photos up to requirements) and ordered photo prints at Walgreens (a few cents per page of 6 photos) and they always have some coupons for prints. I didn't have any issues with it and it saves I would say $70? At least for AOS because they require like 6-8 photos :)

Yes, go to a photo studio with the digital photo (taken according to their requirements) and ask them to print it out. It's fairly simple. They take the photo requirements seriously, we got an RFE for the passport style photo of the petitioner (which was a photo taken and accepted for the US citizen passport renewal) but apparently it was not good enough for USCIS standards, so my fiance had to go and retake a photo at a professional photo studio (not Kinkos, Walgreens, CVS etc.) and we got approved soon after.

This is quite surprising because my USC fiance's passport photos from one of those places made it through just fine and were according to the requirements. Guess some just doesn't meet the requirements, not all.

I agree, it varies from case to case.
