Hello everyone

we had our interview on june 20th CR1 and it was refused after 10 days we received an email to file DS 5535 its the same form you guys are talking about. but we dont know how long or what it will do so we will be waiting now. so i think you should fill the Form let your Fiance take it with her in case they ask for it or she can fill it so she know what to answer if they ask her the questions during her interview.

Taking the form "just in case" is not a good idea.

I'm sorry you got the form. It is weird being from Canada.

Nobody really know how long it takes because the form is new. Hopefully not long, but it could be one or two months.

Yes, that is a long time. Immigrating to Canada seems to be easier. Or you could visit while the IR-1 process ends. I wouldn't start anything because since he lives in Canada, he might get lucky.

does whatsapp and skype count as social media? The only things shes uses are Facebook and the two I just mentioned.

would it be like
social media platform: Facebook          social media handle: Her name
                                    Whatsapp                                            Her name

If you guys prefer to live in Canada, you can find the forms and instructions on cic.gc.ca - if your husband was Canadian at the time of your daughter's birth, that is also where you can request a proof of Canadian citizenship for your daughter.

Otherwise, you should certainly visit so that you can have family time all together.

So is there where to upload the form?  My husband has never received their email that they say they sent.  We need to know what to do after the form is filled out.  He had his C1 immigrant interview in Casablanca.
