Petition for Parents

Hi. I recently obtain my USC (2 weeks ago). I am currently working on the paperwork to sponsor my parents' immigration. I have been having some difficulty following the process. Many of the resources I have been using were either outdated, or did not specify a few things that is causing some confusion. To clarify, before I list my questions/concerns: my parents currently reside in their home country, and will remain there during the processing time.

1) In filing I-130, do I need to include passport sized photographs? Or is this only a requirement for sponsoring of a spouse?

2) Who files the G-325A document? Would it be me (the petitioner) or my parent (the beneficiary)?

3) Do I file my I-864 alongside the I-130? And in doing so, provide my paystubs/tax returns?

I am trying to gather as much information as possible, and really do appreciate any help and advice given. At this moment, my thought process involves filing I-130, with a copy of my Naturalization Certificate, filing fee, Birth Certificate. I am unsure if I need to file my parents' Birth and Marriage certificates. Can I file both I-130's in one envelope, with a check for their respective fees?

Again, thanks!

hi.

im just going through NVC process to bring my parents to US.

here is the info im sharing that i went through uscis i 130 process.

no photograph needed. ( its only in the case of spouse)

you can fill up G-325A on behalf of beneficiary and send along with i130

you do not need to file i-684 now. ( its only at the NVC process after i130 is approved)

yes . you do need to submit  your parents birth certificate and marriage certificate with i130

( dont forget) if your birth certificate shows only one name of your parent than you are required to submit a  affidevit of relationship with the parent who"s name is not in your birth certificate.  ( sworn under oath from your relatives/friends )

you should put each i130 in sep env and put both in one usps priority envelop.

good luck

Thank you for the response. This helps! Greatly!

Since I do not need to yet provide an i-864, I assume that I do not need to provide any pay stub and tax info at the moment? Do they send a notice requiring and instructing in the next step?

Again, thanks!
