Hi. I need help.

I am a Filipina but I am currently here in the Middle East working as an Engineer.

I have a question for the fiance visa:

If after we have completed and submitted the forms and all the requirements, and I suddenly change work or leave my work because of the crisis here in the Middle East, will this affect our application?

No. The beneficiaries employment doesn't really matter too much for the I-129f petition and all. And even the embassy mainly cares about the petitioner's income/finances.

You should be fine.

To add to this, if you submitted the paperwork stating the embassy in the Middle Eastern country you are in, and you leave back to the Philippines, you will need to ask for the case to be reassigned to the embassy in Manila though.

Nope, you should be fine, especially as the beneficiary. If you move, you will need to update them on your new address.

Thank you for your reply! :)

Really? Then the process would take longer if we the case has to be reassigned? Sigh.

Probably not too much longer is my guess.

I'm actually curious if it matters if the petitioner changes jobs shortly after filing. My fiance is planning on finding a new job (he wouldn't change jobs if it was less money though) and I wonder if he'd have to update the petition.
