Dennis Kucinich: Dems’ 25th Amendment Proposal ‘Destroying the Party’ – ‘Not Good for the Country’

Quote

He added, “I think there are some people in the party who are still having a great difficulty being able to reconcile the results of the November 2016 elections with their own politics, and we have to realize the American people are the ones who judge president trump. they decided he should be president in November of 2016, and that’s the way the process works. And so, we must find common ground, and you can’t establish common ground if you are slinging mud.”

Kucinich further argued that if the Democrats want new leadership, they should “disconnect” from corporations funding the party.

It's very interesting because Kucinich has been one of the Democrats I've considered voting for in the past. Yet he was cast aside on the Presidential stage because they wanted more of a corporatist yes-man. It's ironic that a person with both 1) integrity and 2) sharing essential liberal values, who leans heavily to the left, would be hilariously cast out and to this day, for criticizing the Democratic Party, despite his political views, is equated to a Trump lackey, which everyone who knows this guy knows he's far from it, LOL.

Of course, this issue of trying to push Trump out of the WH is merely symbolic, but the Dems appealing to those who are still upset about the November 2016 elections, appealing to the tantrums of trying to get rid of Trump because he offends them.

It's funny because this is the kind of guy Democrats need. If they were smart, they'd put this guy at the forefront right away, even though I'm fairly sure he's likely nowhere near wanting to run for President again.

It's gonna be funny in election season how the Democrats would try and walk back all these comments and tantrums in a time where they need votes in contentious states to avoid Republicans inching closer to a filibuster free Senate. Right now these people are all observing the Dem Party's utter childishness.
