Im sorry to hear this..Mine is actually in US embassy kabul.  It has been there the whole time since Interview. When did ur case get sent back to USCIS? Did they ask for  more documents?  How this come about?

that is a good sign then if it is still in Kabul embassy. Mine was sent back after a month or so I think. They never give a reason for AP but I assume they didn't believe our relationship. Like I said hard to prove finance visa.  I also found out that K1 or fiance visa has a validity date of 6 months I think so u should be getting an answer soon.

I applied in 2015. I didn't have an engagement party bc of a death in the family at that time so no party pictures to show and also the interview didn't go too well.

How about ur case ? any red flags.

We are a different religion and I am 10 yrs older then him. They interviewed him then called me in the states a couple days later to phone interview me. They gave him a yellow card for AP and waiting for medical documents. After 4 months on AP it switched to non-immigrant application received. . Then Embassy called him to ask about his schooling and job history. After that it's on AP again both Immigrant and non-immigrant status..

That means they are investigating and trying to decide on the case. You should hear something soon. Still hope there. Good luck. Keep us updated it.
