Hey all. I applied i-130 for my spouse I am a US citizen my priority date is August 23rd 2016 with the Nebraska Center my case has not been transferred.

The Nebraska Center already past my priority date. I have made various service request and expedite request.  When I finally get a response all they say is my case is under review to wait 30 days after the 30 days I get no response. I have only received an noa1. So my question is basically does anybody have any idea what's going on. I contact my Senator's office they cant get any response. My spouse has never been married before. I was married before and I applied for somebody else but that case was denied. But that was many years ago way before I met my current spouse. I have never committed a crime and neither has my spouse. I'm really at a loss. I have kids with my spouse. Can anybody help please and turn me in the right direction or have any idea what's going? Has this ever happened to any of you guys? Forgot to mention my spouse is currently living in Pakistan he is Pakistani. I would even go to the Nebraska Center in person and asked if I could but from what I hear you can't just walk into the Nebraska Center they don't take customers. Thank you all your help is greatly appreciated.

I'm in a similar position. My P.D. is October 24, out of normal processing times, after several inquiries and contacting congressman, they told us they are waiting for the background checks to clear (FBI). They basically told us it could be weeks, months or years in a worst case scenario.

You are way past normal processing times, you should call USCIS and ask to speak to a Tier2 or a supervisor, they should give you a fair explanation of what's holding your case.

The best thing you can do is go for the Infopass appointment, and speak to an officer, hopefully they can give you a more detailed explanation.

You've been married one year and your I-130 is almost a year old, how can you have had a previous denied marriage related petition?

3/26/18 Biometrics

7/2019-12/2019 (Yes, 16- 21 months) Estimated time to interview MSP office.

I would suggest you make Infopass Appointment online to any of the nearest office from you , and speak with the USCIS officer directly there, from what I heard they can get more up to date and better deep details then what reps over the phone can. .. besides it'll be a face to face meeting so
