*Background info: I'm the green card holder, my husband is the USC. I moved to the US in December 2014 on a K1 visa.*

ROC list:

1. Money order of $680

2. Form I-751

3. Cover letter

4. Copy of my green card (front and back)

5. Certified copy of our marriage license

6. Copies of our current and expired State IDs showing the same address

7. IRS Tax Return Transcripts showing we filed married jointly (2015, 2016)

8. Joint rental lease (2015, 2016, 2017) plus paper showing me being added on the lease in December 2014, a few days after I moved to the USA

9. Joint renters insurance (2016, 2017)

10. Joint health insurance (2016, 2017)

11. Joint dental insurance (2016, 2017)

12. Joint life insurance (2016, 2017)

13. Joint Verizon cell phone plan (December 2014 - present)

14. Statement from bank that we are authorized to handle each others' accounts in case of emergency

15. Copies of my bank account history showing that I have regularly transferred money to my husband's account to help paying the bills

16. Medical Power of Attorney for both of us

17. Few photos of us

18. Letters/mail addressed to both of us

+ brief explanation that we couldn't afford health/dental/life insurance for both of us in 2015 and that we don't have a car and credit cards. Our water bill is included in the rent, our electricity and cable bill is only in my husband's name as we were unable to add me to them too. Also we have not traveled either.

Did I miss something? Any ideas are welcome :)

From your letter it seems that you and your husband do not have a JOINT account that handles the bills.  It sounds like you have an account and you transfer money to HIS account for bill sharing.  If this is true, then please add this to your "brief explanation" section.  Explain how you and your spouse handle money and expenses.  Show the transfer out from YOUR account, and the transfer IN by including statements from HIS account.  If all the bills are in his name, then add that to your explanation (and why, if you can).  Also add a statement as to the fact that you do not have credit cards and why (you have a poor credit history, or you don't believe in credit, or whatever).  This will be important to your "story" about how you do life together.  USCIS folk don't take the time to try to figure out your story.  You have to tell it to them and explain.

Good luck!

Thanks for your answer. We indeed don't have a joint account that handles the bills. I was going to add in my explanation letter that I pay part of the bills by transfering money into his account monthly. We do have a joint savings account that we opened not a long ago but there isn't much activity on it. We don't believe in credit cards that's why we don't use them.

Good explanations, Diamond.  Just be sure you put all of that info in your letter so that the officer will read the facts and not automatically issue an RFE.  You have a lot of good evidence, but you have to connect the dots for them.
