You should probably allow at least a 4-hour window for him to arrive and get through customs and immigration before he has to catch the next flight. Maybe even 5.

8/26/08 -------> Check cashed

8/28/08 -------> Called USCIS was told biometrics scheduled for Sept 12 @ 3 pm

9/02/08 -------> Received NOA 1 showing receipt date as August 22, 2008

9/02/08 -------> Received bio appt by snail mail verifying scheduled date as 9/12 @ 3 pm

9/12/08 -------> Fingerprints taken

12/16/08------> Interview @ 10:05 am [PASSED]; OAth given at 2 pm

12/29/08 -----> Filed for US passport book and passport card for my husband

01/08/09 -----> Rec'd US passport book in mail today; still waiting for card and return of natz cert

05/04/07 Received BLUE Finger Print Receipt Notification (day 32)

05/17/07 Received NOA1 dated 5/9/07(day 45)

05/18/07 Received ASC Appointment Notice dated 5/14/07 for June 1st (day 46)

06/01/07 Biometric Appointment today @ 2:00 (day 60)

K-1/K-2 AOS APPROVED IN ATLANTA MAY 17, 2006

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

Hey Moody!! :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance: Had some spares thanks to JP, so thought I'd share. :lol:

I too got an email from Casa the day after the visa was issued saying the case was still pending AR. :blink: But like you I just laughed. He already had his visa in hand and that was all that mattered.

Best wishes for a happy future together. You will be in heaven when you see his eyes for the first time on American soil.

10/23/2007--7 months and 2 weeks of A/P and still waiting..........God help me!

4/22/2008---2nd Interview ( keep us in your prayers)

4/22/2008--He was approved for the Visa 2-3 weeks until he recieves it in the mail lets hope so!!

6/03/2008--VISA IN HAND! Thank you god!

7/03/2008--Our Wedding Day!

Wow! Thank you everyone for your kind words and wishes (F) Thank you so much, Salwa, for making a thread for us...what a surprise!

I came online to look for airline tickets and found this :)

Mohamed received his visa on Saturday morning, alhamdulillah! We're both overjoyed! He's planning on coming the first week in May, most likely the 2nd or 3rd. I can't wait to see my boy again!!!!! I haven't heard him this happy in a loooong time. He kept saying..I'm so happy habibity, I'm just so happy...now I can hug you everyday!

Question...I'm looking for the best airline to direct Mohamed to so he can buy his ticket. He can't buy it online so I'm not sure how to go about finding him a ticket. Did anyone else's husband buy their ticket in Egypt and which airline or travel agent did they use? TIA for any info.

Thank you all again...I couldn't have gone through this without all of you (F)

This is really freaky!!!!

EVERY time I go away someone gets their visa from Cairo!!!! When I went to Egypt it was "waitingforever" and now it's moody!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wonder who its gonna be in July when I go back???
