Hey guys sorry for asking so many questions but I'm about to send this k1 rfe package this week and I want to make sure I got everything correct. My fiance translated her birth certificate but is not certified does have to be certified? also, do I need to send her birth certificate now in this package or she will need it later? FYI I'm sending the  I129f package this week because the paralegal I hired to do the job for me did wrong so he just sent the I129f form without the documentation evidence. Thanks!!

Only the petitioner's birth certificate is required for the initial petition, as proof of citizenship. The beneficiary will be asked for her/his birth certificate at the Embassy stage, after NOA2.

I know they ask for the large form, but not sure if it has to be certified. Anyway, I got mine certified because I know I will need it later on, and better be safe than sorry, provided the long wait for NOA2 gives us enough time to do this kind of things right.

You know, the complete birth certificate and not just an extract. Not sure how is called there.

That's perfect. I was talking about the different types we have for birth certificates when you have to order them :)

Anyway, her birth certificate is not needed right now. And when answering to an RFE , make sure you provide exactly what they are asking you! DO NOT include your fiancee's BC because it is not needed. Everything they need is specifically said in the RFE. Failing to provide what they have asked you can result into a denial of your case!

 

By the way, all translated documents must be certified!! If she has translated that by herself, it means that she has to sign it right? Then the doc will be rejected because it will be violating the USCIS rules.

It was, I have the k1 package ready base on the info I got from USCIS, Visajourney and youtubers the RFE is on the way It should be on y mailbox this week. Unfotuanlly the paralegal that I initially hired which I fired two months ago sent the I129f form without the evidence documentation so now my situation is complicated because I won't get a second change it is nerve wracking.
