Hi guys!  I have a couple of questions about the I-129F that I would really appreciate your help with as I really don’t want the app to get held up because of a few stupid mistakes. So would really appreciate your input or if you feel a similar post have addressed these questions please post a link. Thank you in advance for all your help!

Page 7, 46 “Daytime telephone number of where your beneficiary intends to live”.

My fiancé doesn’t have a landline only a cell phone is it ok for him to leave this section blank or should he write no landline at address?

Page 7, 49a - 50f “Your beneficiary’s name and address in his or her native alphabet”.

I have dual citizenship (British/Russian) and have lived in the UK since I was seven years old. Should I write my name in Russian even though I live in the UK, am a citizen and will be attending the interview in London? I don’t have a Russian address so I should just write my name and leave the address section blank? Or write N/A or live in the UK in the address section.

Page 6, 38a-38h “If your beneficiary is currently in the United States…”

I’ve printed the latest copy of the I-129F and according to the UCIS instructions it clearly states that:

“Select the box to indicate whether your beneficiary has ever been in the United States. Provide the date of your beneficiary’s most recent entry in the United States, his or her I-94 Arrival-Departure Record Number, if available, and his or her immigration status at the time of arrival (for example, student, tourist, temporary worker, without inspection). Provide the expiration date and identification numbers on the I-94 or I-95 Arrival-Departure Records, travel documents, and or passports”.

So even though the form says “If your beneficiary is currently in the United States complete item numbers 38a-38h I should still fill out this section even though I’m not in the U.S.?

Page 5, 12a-12h “Your Beneficiary’s Address History’

If I have been living at my current address for more than 5 years and I’ve provided it in the section above (11a-11i) I don’t need to write it out again, right? Just double checking.

Page 8, 53 “Have you and your fiancé met during the two years…”

Should the written explanation of how and where we have met up in the past two years also include how we originally met? (more than two years ago). Or would you say this is irrelevant we just need to explain our meetings within this time period?

Page 7, Item 46: Could be the petitioner's phone number since the beneficiary does intend to live with the petitioner.

Page 7, Items 49a-50f: I've no idea.

Page 6, Items 38a-38h: Do not complete this section if the beneficiary is not in the US presently.

Page 5, Items 12a-12h: You need to re-enter the address here because Item 11 was about mailing address while Item 12 on physical address.

Page 8, Item 53: Just state your in-person meetings. The question has been made clear by USCIS as opposed to the vague Item 34a in the old version of the form.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

As to the native alphabet question, I would leave it blank since you are living in the U.K. This one is more for people living in a country that uses different alphabets such as Cyrillic or Chinese.  If you do generally use Cyrillic to write out your current U.K. address then by all means, fill it in.

KultoAtl answered the other questions and I agree so no need to repeat them here.

Good Luck!
