@John & Rose and there was probably that many may when they moved onto June and there will probably be that many July when they move onto August...  I know it sucks and I'm hoping you hear something soon!

Well of course I haven't forgotten to pray for June filers @John & Rose. We are all hoping and praying for June to finished quickly so everyone on cue will follow. Hoping that your NoA2 will be in the mailbox today. 😍😍😍

I'm sorry if I seem like a downer.  I really dont mean to be.  I was one of those people who waiting everyday since day 160 for that notification.  Every day was going to be the day.  It is now day 216 and my petition has not even been assigned yet.  Please stay positive but realize that this is not a quick process.  There are still a handful of May filers in day 230 to 240.  There are 120 virgins waiting on my date.  

 

Stay positive, hold your partners close.  Talk about it.  Do not let the process be the focus.  Remember why you filed. I wish all of you the very best but please do not get overly frustrated.  This will happen and hopefully quickly.

 

It hurts me when I see September and October filers already frustrated and wondering where their approvals are.  My heart goes out to them.  We will all be with our loved ones this year.  That is all that really matters.

July 13 filer here. When we filed, the average times for this part we're 3-5 months and we made all of our plans around that...so this waiting has messed up a lot of things. I got my congressman involved and they sent a request to expedite to the USCIS, but they can deny if they want. Here is hoping! Also going to try to get her a tourist visa with her parents so they can meet my parents and see what America is like.

Oh, no. Trust me. I'm right there with you. We have to be realistic about it. Being too hopeful can definitely suck the wind out of your sails.

 

We've been talking a lot about the what if's. Right now, all I can do is continue on with work, chitchat with you guys and refresh to see more people get approved. That way WILL come. That much is inevitable.

Expedites are very difficult.  There was one for July and the approved expedite took 178 days!  This is just so bizarre right now.  Only a couple expedites seem to get approved each month and lately it was only due to active duty military about to be deployed.

Wow. This is appalling. There's nothing to even recognise that they are now working far beyond an expected or reasonably fair processing period.

 

If I may ask, what reasoning did you provide for expediting? I'm curious if they're even being hard-lined on loss of income cases at this stage.
