We just realized that only 53% of June filers have been touched.  There are still 2133 virgin June petitions.  Now we are seeing 12+ weeks to complete a single month of petitions.

I sincerely hope they get their ####### together. It should not take this long to process applications.

I would call and yell but after doing that twice AND reaching out to my local reps, I just have to hang my frustration on the wall and get on with it.

Honestly, I'm in a lucky situation. He travels here for work often (once every few months) and the ESTA is forgiving. I love that I get to see him. I had him here for 22 days in December.
With that being said, it's not always easy. I know that there are people here who have it harder than we do - and my heart goes out to those of you that aren't as lucky as we are. I cannot imagine what it must feel like to be going through this and not seeing your partner for months or years on end.

It is infuriating that we all have to go through this, but remember.. The end goal. That's it. That one way ticket. We're going to get there. One day.

Since our timelines are getting postponed all the time and the long waiting time at the NVC I guess we won't be together with our partners before April. Now I have the chance to go visit my fiancee for 2 weeks. I can leave mid January and come back in the beginning of February. Do you guys think I should go or will I get any problems when I try to enter the US?

Well depends on if you ever had trouble entering US.

I am in US right now and didn't have any problems

Then I don't think you will have a problem.

read the topic on k1 "yes you can visit" to get some idea. But from your country with some work documents that shows you'll be back I don't see any problems.(they didn't even ask me that and I did say my fiancé - actually I even had my fiancé with me this time)

I’ve a question, please feel free to share your opinions.. I did a Fiancé sponsorship for my fiancé that is a permanent resident living in Canada, he has just applied for his Citizenship while the fiancé sponsorship is in process.. does anyone know if that’s going to be a problem.. he has citizenship in Guyana by birth and has been living in Canada since 2014... thank you all, I know that time is getting close and I would not want anything to get into the way of him being able to come over here to the USA after being approved.

Thank you all,
Sarah

Why is he trying to get citizenship in Canada if he's planning on moving to the USA?

My parents thinks that’ it’s best if he does it because if we ever plan on moving to Canada in the future. So he did the paperwork and sent it in. But that’s about an average of 5-6 months to get it from what’s I’ve read online.  I just don’t know if while coming over on the Fiancé Visa if he will have to give up his permanent resident card before entering the USA.. I don’t know if anyone else did that before?

Me and you are on the same boat. My fiance needs to get here by April since his lease expires that month and the owner refuses to do month by month. We also have our wedding planned for the last weekend of that month... we thought we had given ourselves enough of a buffer with applying in July. If USCIS starts mailing their approved applications to NVC like they use to instead of holding them for almost two months... and we get approvals this month... then I think an April POE is possible. Still hopeful here.
