If you keep yourself in an anxious and frustrated state, you’ll only attract more anxiety and frustration. If you try to feel good and keep positive, you’ll attract more positivity.

aaaaaaamen!!!

just like that. that's what I try to keep telling myself. just sometimes it's hard and sometimes not too fun.

there are good days and then there are the bad days, where I'm sooo upset! what upsets me the most is, that the case is just sitting there.

I don't mind if it's going from desk to desk on a weekly base and being touched. but sitting in a shelf for 4 -6 months is what gets me.

but anyways, let's stick with the positive! it's going to be a great day and we are all lucky to have our love in our life!

and Christmas is around the corner, new year, new start - for all of us!!! <3

N-400: 12/05/2023 (confirmed fingerprints are re-used)

Interview scheduled for: 05/09/2024

We all are. *warm internet hugs*  Personally, I've been keeping myself distracted by going on Netflix (Dark has been keeping me on edge these days) and by painting Christmas cards for my fiancee and his family. :)

Ha Ha I might have to check that out. I usually watch K-Dramas and Chinese dramas to distract me. I rarely watch American TV. Recently I'm watching a Japanese drama on Netflix. It's more geared for teens, but hey, we are all teens at heart, right?

Painting cards sound so Romantic..............I Love homemade stuff for gifts because it comes from the heart!

I heard reference that NVC might be sorting themselves out.  If NVC sorts itself out that will make a huge difference to our wait times.  It would basically mean that heaps of us could have visa in hand by Feb/March.

There's a new boss at Homeland Defense Dept. which is charge of all this.  Once you go over 6 months, time to jump the case of your Representative and/or Senators.  They will be anxious to question her.  I've  been through all this in 1999 (first marriage). Just pray to God that's there's no illegal alien amnesty ... that'll flood the system and the legal immigrants who have waited for months and have paid $thousands will go to the back of the line (seen it happen in Dec 2000 and got confirmation from friends working in Dallas Service Center).

Timeline estimation jumped back 3 days today from Jan 27th to the 30th.  Guessing we'll see further big jumps coming with the US Holiday hours starting.  :(.  Feels like  lately we are chasing the timeline and it is winning.  Hopefully we'll see some improvement in the beginning of the year, or at least stop losing to the timeline.

Throughout this whole process, my fiance has been my rock. Unfortunately, he's starting to get a little worried as well. He asked me if I had any news of our petition yet. :( I hated having to tell him no. Neither of us expected the process to take this long. I only hope that things will accelerate after the first of the year. I miss him so much!!!

I remember when we first started this process I had a maximum of 5-6 months in mind.. and now we are looking at times similar to or matching the CR1.  Stay strong.  I'm just trying not to look at the Timeline estimations but it's a bit of an addiction at this point.
